Dave Sheffield is a longtime Central Florida jazz musician known for his work on trombone and piano. Active since the early 1970s, he has performed with notable ensembles including the Tommy Dorsey Orchestra, Sam Rivers’ Rivbea Orchestra, and Walt Disney World groups, while also leading his own projects such as the Dave Sheffield Trio.

A dedicated member of the local jazz community, he helped found the Sanford Jazz Ensemble and has performed across the U.S. and Europe. Largely self-taught, Sheffield continues to grow as an artist while living in Orlando with his wife, Charlene.
