Art For Kids
The St. Johns River Festival of the Arts is pleased to announce its “Art for Kids” program that will begin offering classes on January 10, 2015.
The St. Johns River Festival of the Arts board of directors feels strongly that the arts impact our lives in dramatic fashion and is the perfect way to explore new horizons, stimulate imagination, creativity and also develop self-esteem and interpersonal skills. Art classes will be taught to different age groups in a variety of mediums with guidance from professional artists.
ALL children are invited to attend regardless of ability to pay! Through the generous support of our sponsors and funds raised during the annual St. Johns River Festival of the Arts fine art festival (first weekend in May) the Board of Directors has implemented a graduated tuition scholarship program for children living in Seminole County. Art classes will be taught to different age groups in a variety of mediums with guidance from professional artists.

The ABC's of ART
Drawing and Painting
Ages 10 and up 4:30 PM - 5:30 PM
$45 all materials will be provided. Please see our scholarship opportunities below.
In this class students will continue to explore a variety of techniques and mediums. We will work with pencil, acrylic, pastels and water
color on projects that will build fundamental skills and develop creativity, while having fun! We will teach them which material best suits the project, so they can attain the best results. This class is designed as a continuing course in art instruction. Each student will be given the opportunity to explore their creativity and find the medium that appeals to them. All materials are furnished by The St. Johns River Festival of the Arts. This class is recommended for students with a serious interest i
n art and who have completed the first class, An Introduction to Drawing and Painting.
Students will not be admitted without a signed application form by their parent or guardian. Applications will be available if you do not have the ability to apply on
